Alexia Cron is the Asia Pacific Lead of DSM’s Nutrition Improvement unit since August 2018. In this role, she is responsible for the implementation of the Nutrition Improvement strategy in the region, while delivering a meaningful and sustainable business impact. In collaboration with cross sector partners, she is building new markets for DSM in the areas of food fortification, supplements and therapeutics foods used in public health, as well as relevant foods and beverages for the Base of Pyramid.
Alexia spent the last 14 years in Asia Pacific Regional roles, based in China and in Singapore. Prior to joining DSM, she has been holding various commercial, marketing and business development roles in the food and nutrition industry, in companies such as Symrise, Diana Food and Roquette Freres.
A French national, Alexia holds a Master of Science Degree, major in Biological Sciences and Technologies, Human Nutrition from AGROPARISTECH (National Institute of Agronomy and Agriculture Paris-Grignon) and Bachelor of Science Degree from Lycee du Parc, Lyon, France. Besides her passion for nutrition, she also has strong interests in marine ecosystems, as well as yoga and meditation.
