About Aung Htun

Aung Htun brings deep experience of capital markets, fund raising and private equity.

Having founded, built and listed Seamico Securities Plc in Thailand and ran Thai Strategic Capital Management, a Thai PE firm, he founded and, until 2019, was CEO of AIM listed Myanmar Investments (“MIL”) a Myanmar focused investment company.

He is a non executive director of various publicly listed and private companies as well as Chairman of the Advisory Board of CVT, a vocational training INGO and was appointed by the State Counsellor’s Office as a member of the Myanmar Government’s Yangon Electricity Supply Board Reform Committee.
