Prof. Fu is also a supervisor of the doctoral program at School of Sociology of Beijing Normal University. He has also worked in news media as well as in the municipal and central government for many years.
Since 2012, he has devoted himself to supporting the development of philanthropy and social innovation and promoting new forms of social governance. He has spearheaded the research and publication of a number of reports, including Report on Family Foundations in China (2018), List of Top 100 Philanthropists of China (2016-2018), China Internet Philanthropy Development Report (2017), Comparative Study on Donor-Advised Fund (2017), Report on Global Family Philanthropists (2016), and Report on Global Philanthropy’s Support for Sustainable Development (2016). He led designing the courses of “Family Philanthropy and Family Legacy" that are offered at CGPI.
