Divya is a a champion for social entrepreneurs in Singapore and in the region. She worked with Impact Hub Singapore from 2014-2016 to set up Singapore's first Social Enterprise Incubator through which they incubated over 30 social enterprises. She continues this passion in her current role as the Programs and Partnerships Lead at Ashoka Singapore.

She is often involved in judging startup competitions such as NTUC Future Starter Challenge, SIF's YSE Program, YES, Halogen Foundation Business Plan Competition and facilitating or participating in panel discussions including at INSEAD, AVPN, DBS Social Venture Challenge and Social Icon.

She is also passionate about encouraging youth to follow their dreams and think out of the box & speaks regularly at youth events & sits on the advisory council for the UWCSEA Ideas Hub.

Prior to her role in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, Divya worked with IBM in their consulting division, in both London & Singapore for almost 10 years. Her projects focused on addressing & solving critical operations strategy and design issues. She also has extensive experience in project management and has overseen multi million dollar projects running across multiple countries. In 2010, she led the set up IBM’s Innovation Centre in Singapore, a platform through which IBM brought some of its latest technologies to Singapore to see how they could be applied in the local context.

Divya took a break from the corporate world in 2011, after which she trained to be a docent at the Asian Civilisations Museum. For 2 years she guided actively and was also a member of the training team, mentoring aspiring docents.
