About Simon (Mac) McKenzie

Mac is a founding Director of the Bridge Institute and the Managing Director of Bridge Asia-Pacific.

The Bridge Institute brings the most senior government, business and civil leaders together to solve the pressing societal challenges of our time. Recent programmes have focused on reducing gender-based violence, peacebuilding, water and education reform. One of the flagship programmes he leads is the Kalinga Fellowship (, which brings together senior political leaders, police, judiciary, the UN, business leaders and specialist NGO CEOs to determine the leadership and breakthrough strategies that will reduce violence on women and children in Asia.

For Bridge, he manages the Asia-Pacific business. He specialises in developing CEOs, Executive Committees and senior leaders in their leadership, and helping organisations become a stronger force for good in the world. He has particular interests in areas such as sustainability, values-led organisations, safety and ethical growth.

He lives in Singapore with his family. He is a dedicated sportsman and mountaineer and is passionate about the roles of both leadership and sport in society.
