Mike Monteleone serves as private sector advisor for Asia at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), based in Washington, DC.
His expertise includes engaging innovative private capital and blended finance in areas such as agriculture, trade, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth throughout Southeast Asia and South and Central Asia. He has also co-led USAID engagement in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit and currently serves on the Agency’s Credit Review Board.
Prior to USAID, he practiced corporate law in New York at a major international law firm, where he worked primarily with private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, credit, and fund formation transactions. He holds a B.A. with honors in Economics from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, and a MBA from the Kellogg
School of Management at Northwestern University.
