Nate Smith is HOT’s Director of Technology Innovation. In his role, he oversees development of all open source humanitarian software projects at HOT. Nate has been leading ongoing efforts to integrate machine learning into HOT’s apps, has in depth knowledge of the OSM and humanitarian response communities, and has extensive experience in on-the-ground data collection. Nate holds a Masters in Public Health from George Washington University.
