STIR has a radically innovative approach in that it sees teachers as the solution, not the problem, in addressing the global learning crisis. STIR partners with governments to ignite and sustain intrinsic motivation of teachers and officials at scale in developing countries. Nithya leads the work with STIR’s donors and strategic partners who are supporting its work in India and Uganda. In a prior life she was a corporate counsel with a focus on Intellectual Property. And graduated with a Masters Degree in Law from the George Washington University Law School.
