Nazanine Scheuer leads Save the Children’s Social Ventures and Strategic Partnership Development. In this role, she leads a team of development professionals to build partnerships with private sector organizations focusing on new business models such as social enterprise, impact investing and venture philanthropy. Over the course of her tenure at Save the Children, she has negotiated and secured multi-million dollar partnerships with corporate and private foundation partners. Under her leadership, Save the Children has launched an incubator and accelerator for social enterprise development focusing on partnerships with social impact returns.
Prior to Save the Children, Nazanine was the Director of the United Nations Global Compact Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting and funding the UN agency’s environmental, social and governance programs.
Nazanine started her career in the private sector, working in the pharmaceutical and food industries in Europe and in the US. Over the course of her private sector career, she held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and business development, launching new products and developing strategic alliances in new markets.
Nazanine has a bachelor’s degree from the International School of Business Administration of Groupe ESSEC, Paris, France. She holds an MBA from Leonard N. Stern Business School at NYU.
