Prior to returning to her native Myanmar and joining Proximity in 2012, Hninn worked in the US in the field of conservation and statistical genetics.
After building up the research and impact arm of Proximity Designs, Hninn transformed and scaled the Farm Advisory team into a robust, data-driven operation providing affordable and climate conscious techniques and services that boost farmers’ productivity and yields.
Hninn received her Bachelor degree in Biology and Mathematics from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, her Masters degree in Biostatistics from Boston University and her Post-Graduate Diploma degree in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford.
