Pranapda is founder of dragonfly360, a gender equality movement to mobilize society
towards empowering girls & women economically, socially and politically through stories that educate and inspire people to take action.
Dragonfly360 engages activist, celebrities and business leaders to drive the equally for gender equality to both the public and private sector.
Pranapda holds numerous management positions in her family business, Siam Motors Group, a diversified group of companies that has dominated the automobile and parts industry in Thailand for over 60 years with an annual turnover of over 8 Billion USD. Apart from its core business of automotive manufacturing of Nissan cars, Siam Motors Group is also a key player in manufacturing construction equipment, including Komatsu heavy machinery, Daikin air conditioning, and Hitachi elevators, as well as numerous automotive parts. The group has also diversified into music schools and equipment, namely Siam Music Yamaha, which to date has over 80 branches across the country, and also hospitality which includes renowned golf courses and hotels. Pranapda is in charge of Business Development for Siam Motors and is also President of Siam Music Yamaha and Siam Nissan Sales. She is also heading up a mixed-use development of a real estate project in the heart of Bangkok.
In 2015, Pranapda founded Paroshoot Group, a fashion retail and distribution company with brands that include Christian Louboutin, Havaianas, Missoni, Petit Bateau, and Berluti. Paroshoot owns and operates over 70 outlets in Thailand and Cambodia.
Prior to Siam Motors, Pranapda started her career at GE Capital and is trained in Lean Six Sigma and Black Belt. She also holds a BA from Brown University in Business economics and another degree in Interior Design from UCLA. Her passions include planting trees with the initiative of Right to Breathe started with YPO AU and as well as yoga, wake surfing and traveling with her son.
