Robin Carney is the Trusts and Foundations Manager for WWF-Singapore. She develops and manages relationships with philanthropic investors and donors in Singapore to support WWF's strategic priorities in Southeast Asia in support of its mission: to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature.
A dual American-Portuguese citizen, Robin studied International Relations and Multinational Management at the University of Pennsylvania, and later returned to complete her MBA in Finance at the Wharton School. She worked for Deloitte as a management consultant in New York and Lisbon.
Robin then transitioned into the non-profit sector, managing philanthropic projects for breast cancer charities in Portugal and Belgium, where she launched the Fundraising unit for BIG Against Breast Cancer -- the largest international academic research network for breast cancer. After 15 years in Europe, Robin and her family moved to South Korea, where she continued to support non-profit organizations in her role as President of the Seoul International Women's Association (SIWA).
Robin moved to Singapore in August 2019 and recently joined the Philanthropy team at WWF. She is passionate about sustainability and nature conservation, and hopes to make a difference in protecting and restoring the biodiversity of Southeast Asia through her new role.
