Rachel is The Foundation’s Regional Relationship Manager, Southeast Asia.
Based in Singapore, she is responsible for growing support and partnerships contributing towards the cause of ending avoidable blindness, cutting across crucial developmental themes including education, health systems strengthening, ageing, gender and even fragile contexts.
Over the last 10 years, she was involved in human rights work, ethnic minority protection, development partnerships and oversaw a development portfolio in parts of Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining The Fred Hollows Foundation, she was driving fundraising innovation and disaster response-related work at World Vision.
Rachel holds a BA in Southeast Asian Studies from the National University of Singapore and an LLM International Development Law and Human Rights from the University of Warwick.
