Ms. Susan Bautista-Afan currently serves as the Managing Director and member of the Board of Trustees of the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. (AFI), the socio civic arm of Asia’s most trusted media company, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network.
As Managing Director, Susan leads the organization in the promotion of its advocacies for children, the environment and communities. She ensures the sustainability of projects, efficiency of services and the implementation of a strong donor management system for the organization. She also oversees Fundraising, General Services and Advocacy Program Operations.
Susan has held a variety of leadership positions in the field of recruitment for 30 years including District President of Robert Half International in Southern California. Robert Half is a $4.2B professional staffing services company with over eleven thousand employees in more than 400 locations worldwide. In 2005, she was recognized as its number one Regional Manager in the world.
Susan was honored in 2015 by the Filipina Women’s Network in the United States as among the most influential Filipinas around the globe.
She also serves as co-anchor of AFI's family-oriented radio program, Kapamilya Konek, a platform used to re connect families and provide them with information on financial literacy, parenting and livelihood opportunities among others.
She currently sits as a Board of Trustee for Bayan Academy and the Association of Foundations.
Susan graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Communications in 1980.
