Impact investing is growing in Asia following the global trend reported by The Global Impact Investing Network’s Annual Impact Investor Survey 2018. Asian investors are increasingly seeing impact investing as a vehicle for growth opportunities while achieving the UN’s SDG goals. However, the sector is marred with lack of standards and common definitions. In spite of this, investors are coming up with new models to create a sustainable Impact. Some of the models are at pilot stage while some are ready for replication or scaling.

In this session panellists will discuss the latest trends in impact investing in Asia, the need for collaboration for creating common language and frameworks for measuring impact, the structural challenges and policy issues, and best practices from around the world.
